About me

Dr. Aayush Garg holds a PhD in Computer Science and specializes in research in Security Testing and AI. He is currently a Scientist (Research and Technology) at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology. Previously, he worked as a Doctoral Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), University of Luxembourg. Aayush has been dedicated to research in Security Testing & AI since 2019, preceded by over 7 years of experience in Industrial Software Development & QA. He has actively contributed to more than 19 innovative projects.

Research Interests

Aayush’s research endeavors revolve around the dynamic intersection of Security Testing and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on enhancing Software Quality, Validation and Trustworthiness. With a background in Mutation Testing, Vulnerability Prediction, and Machine Learning (Deep Learning), his work aims to advance Software and Security Testing Methodologies. He is committed to improving Software Validation Methods, aiming to provide tangible tools and techniques for the evolving landscape of Software & Security Testing, and Artificial Intelligence.

Education

PhD in Computer Science with a concentration in Software Security and AI at University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg

  • Aayush’s research on Guiding Quality Assurance Through Context Aware Learning focused on harnessing AI, especially Deep Learning (Neural Networks and Large Language Models), to guide Software Security and Quality Assurance practices, and proposed novel methods achieving 80% higher accuracy in software vulnerability prediction, and 42 times (4200%) higher efficiency in code assertion inference, among other contributions.
